The Terms of Use hereafter have been provided on behalf of The Community which is a product of ConNet (SL) Ltd, and its affiliates (“The Community”, “We”, “Us”, “Our”). By clicking on and using www.thecommunitysl.com, including any sub-domain or links thereof (the “site”), you confirm that you have read, understand and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use provided herein, irrespective of whether you are a signed up or registered member of the service. Please read through them carefully. Please avoid accessing or using the site if you do not wish to be bound by these terms of use. Additionally, you may enter into other agreements with The Community, ConNet (SL) Limited, banks and other lenders (“Lenders”) and with others that will govern your use of the products and services offered on the Site. These agreements maybe somewhat different from the Terms of Use. If there is any conflict or inconsistency between these Terms of Use and other agreements you enter into that is applicable to a product or service offered on the Site the applicable agreement governed by law will take precedence.
Eligibility
This Site is intended solely for users who are 18 years of age or older. Any registration or use of the Site by anyone under 18 is unauthorized, void and in violation of these Terms of Use. By using the Site, you depict that you are 18 years old or older and that you agree to abide by all of the terms and conditions of these Terms of Use. Failing to meet our eligibility criteria or violating any of our Terms of Use or other agreement with us or our affiliates, or partners, may lead to termination of your registration, and any content or information that you have shared on the Site. You will also be prohibited from using or accessing our products and services on the Site.
Privacy for Borrowers and Lenders
The Community Policy and the significant Lender’s and Borrower’s Privacy Policy describes how the personal information you provide on this website is used and protected by ConNet, and/or such Lender when you use the Site.
Account
Upon successful completion of your registration, it is mandatory that you create an account with us on the Site using a valid email address and a password. This is sensitive information so please refrain from sharing your login details with a third party. Please notify us immediately if you notice any unusual or unauthorized use of your password or account. Login in is a prerequisite to have access to certain products or services on the site.
As a borrower, you will be required to provide accurate data needed for easy processing of the loan. Inaccurate information will render any loan invalid on the site. Investors equally have to provide factual information upon registration. Inaccurate, inexact, outdated or incomplete information provided will lead to cancelling your registration on the site. Please note that we reserve the right to do so as it will go against this Term of Use. We will also terminate any ongoing agreement you have with The Community, ConNet (SL) Limited or any of our partners. Applications will be declined.
Control
By using the site, you agree to abide by all the laws and regulations provided herein.
Please do not:

Operate or register more than one account. Exceptions can be considered for cases where you may have to register for other individuals due to technological illiteracy.

·Falsely apply for a loan. A vetting process is done before loans are approved therefore impersonations, false representation of you or your business and any other inconsistent information will lead to termination of your registration and decline for any loan application submitted by you.

·Share harmful materials on the site that may lead to malfunction or overburden on the site. Avoid sharing any material that may damage the site, products, services, users, partners and other persons thereof.
Updates
Modifications will be done on a regular basis for easy and friendly user interface with the site. Updates may be shared on the website or our social media handles. In any case, should we decide to discontinue the service or the site, users will be notified. Otherwise, we equally reserve the right to make changes on the site that we deem necessary without giving updates.

Limitation of Liability
In no event shall The Community, ConNet (SL) Limited, Lenders or other partners be held responsible for any damages whether direct or indirect that may result from using the site. The Community, ConNet (SL) Limited, and other partners are excluded from any or all matters that may arise; including but not limited to technical, financial, or other forms of damages or incidents in relation to the Site. Links shared are solely for the purpose of providing extra information or resource. We do not have any copyright or connection to any linked website on our site.

Governing Law and Severability
These Terms of Use shall be governed in all respects by the laws of the Republic of Sierra Leone. If any term, covenant, condition or provision of these “Terms of Use” is held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, void or unenforceable, it is the parties’ intent that such provision be reduced in scope by the court only to the extent deemed necessary by that court to render the provision reasonable and enforceable and the remainder of the provisions of these “Terms of Use” will in no way be affected, impaired or invalidated as a result.
